About Me
I trained as an illustrator but gradually found my life allowed less and less time for painting and drawing. Until, that is, a couple of weeks before my son was born. I had a clear vision of the jungle theme I wanted for his nursery and happily dug out my brushes and paints and sat down as close to a table as my baby bump would allow.
A few days later, his room had been transformed from a bland box to a nursery bursting with colour and personality. And I was in my element. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the creative process.
A few days later, his room had been transformed from a bland box to a nursery bursting with colour and personality. And I was in my element. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the creative process.
As various visitors saw the paintings in his nursery, I started receiving requests for paintings for their own family and friends and realised that this was an opportunity I wanted to grab with both hands. So here we are.
I absolutely love animals and colour, both of which are very much reflected in my paintings. I paint pet portraits, animals that have captured my imagination on my travels, and bespoke commissions for my clients' homes and for them to give as gifts to their loved ones. A proud member of the Croydon Art Society, I paint from my home in London with the aid of my cat Hector, and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it. |
