This orang-utan is an example of a commission I painted for a newborn's nursery. I worked with my client to carefully design a piece of art which would coordinate with the baby's nursery colour scheme and dimensions. The owner cried with joy when she unwrapped her new painting and has since let me know that her baby makes "ooh ooh" sounds whenever his grown ups point to the picture or weave it into their bedtime stories.
